Our Vision

An iThirst Life is a life that thirsts for God from the depths of the heart, the inner parts of a person. Thirsting and hungering after righteousness according to the word of God to the point that a person desires it and puts action to that desire. To not just understand that you need God in all forms but to actually know what that means and entails. An iThirst Life is one that desires the truth from God’s Word so much that you make an honest effort to seek His truth, to ask for His truth and find His truth from His Holy Word. To want the Word of God dwelling inside of your heart, mind, spirit and soul.

I was so tired of not knowing or understanding what the preacher was talking about. During the preacher’s message he would say “you all know the story of” and I was sitting there thinking “No, no I do not.” The preacher would talk about how we (the congregation) all leaned these things in Sunday school as children and I’m thinking, “Dude, not me.” Assuming everyone knew the whole story made me feel singled out for not knowing and I’d say nothing because of how it made me feel. Then one day I got to the point of “this is enough!” I want to know for my self what God’s Word says, I want God’s wisdom, understanding and knowledge and I want to know it all for my self. I don’t want to wait until Sunday at service to learn or at Sunday school class. Both which are extremely important and I’ve learned a great deal from. I realized to have a strong, bold understanding of God is to actually dig into His word and learn at home as well. I realized and started to understand that for a continuous strong walk with God I needed to desire His Word. I needed to make time for God at home, at the store, in the car…everywhere I go….that ”pray without ceasing” type of lifestyle….an iThirst Life!!!

“For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭5:13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬
